WAXING DO'S & don'ts

Prepare to get wax ready!

  • Hair Length needs to be at least 1/4 of an inch long (size of a rice grain). First time waxer's should have 2 weeks of hair growth. This means no shaving or any other form of hair removal during those 2 weeks.

  • If pain or discomfort are a concern, you can take an over the counter pain reliever prior to your service.

  • Exfoliate the area 24hrs prior to your service. this can be done with a body scrub or exfoliating mitt. This will help ease the hair when removing.

  • Wear comfortable cotton panties to avoid irritation. Loose clothing is recommended after a wax service, also to prevent irritation.

  • Apply sunscreen to the area for 2-3 days after treatment if treated area is exposed to direct sunlight or UV lighting.

Big no, no's...

  • DON'T use any numbing creams or sprays!! We don't know what ingredients these products contain and can not risk causing a chemical reaction or burn. Areas that are going to be serviced need to be free of any lotions, creams, perfumes and ect.

  • DON'T consume any alcohol of significant amounts of caffeine before your reservation. Both can cause pores to tighten, resulting in a more discomfort.

  • DON'T have intercourse immediately after a wax.

  • DON'T engage in sports, gym or exercising immediately after a wax.

  • DON'T take a bath, get in a sauna, hot tub, steam room or massage immediately after a wax.

  • DON'T apply artificial lotions, fragrances, sprays, deodorants and colored soaps after a wax.

  • DON'T touch or scratch the treated area with unwashed hands.
